OUR TECHNOLOGY
INSPIRED BY NATURE
Limax is developing next generation hydrogels that mimic the sticky and flexible slime slugs secrete when frightened, without using actual slugs in the process (i.e. biomimicry). One of these innovative features is that they are able to attach to wet dynamically moving surfaces, inside and outside the body, with unprecedented strength, speed, and effectiveness, meaning its adhesion ability is not affected by blood presence nor by the movement of blood, vessels, or other body tissues.
Peer-Reviewed Publications
Limax Biosciences is proud to have garnered recognition with over 13 publications in prestigious research journals, accumulating a over 5000 citations.
